Quer\u00e9taro (UAQ), H\u00e9ctor de Jes\u00fas Garc\u00eda Escamilla, nuevamente fue acreedor a una medalla de oro y otra de plata en la\u00a0<em>Open Mathematical Olympiad for University Students<\/em>\u00a0(OMUS-2023), certamen mundial que organiza la Universidad Internacional de Humanidades y Desarrollo (IUHD, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) en Ashgabat, Turkmenist\u00e1n.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Del 23 al 28 de abril compiti\u00f3 en las instalaciones de la IUHD contra m\u00e1s de un centenar de j\u00f3venes del planeta, logrando una de las 15 medallas de oro en modalidad individual y siendo el \u00fanico oriundo del continente americano en tener dicha presea con el tercer puntaje m\u00e1s alto en la categor\u00eda; en la clasificaci\u00f3n por equipos fue acreedor a la medalla de plata junto con participantes de Hungr\u00eda, Alemania y Arabia Saudita.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Con la medalla de oro individual, Garc\u00eda Escamilla vuelve a ganar por segundo a\u00f1o consecutivo dicho premio, despu\u00e9s de haber participado en la OMUS-2022 y haber conquistado tal categor\u00eda; cabe mencionar que tambi\u00e9n ha sido previamente reconocido en cert\u00e1menes nacionales y locales relacionados (como el Mundial Universitario de Matem\u00e1ticas, el Concurso Nacional de Matem\u00e1ticas \u201cPierre Fermat\u201d y la Olimpiada Mexicana de Matem\u00e1ticas a nivel estatal, entre otros).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Garc\u00eda Escamilla detall\u00f3 que lograr esta presea no solo le concede un gran impulso de motivaci\u00f3n respecto a sus logros personales y una prueba de que se puede alcanzar cualquier objetivo por m\u00e1s grande que sea; tambi\u00e9n, se posiciona a Quer\u00e9taro y M\u00e9xico en el
