Social (IMSS) avanza en la implementaci\u00f3n de su Protocolo de Atenci\u00f3n Integral (PAI) enfermedad por\u00a0Virus de la Inmunodeficiencia Humana(VIH), que permite a profesionales de la salud\u00a0homologar la atenci\u00f3n, prevenir la enfermedad y padecimientos que pueden estar asociados, as\u00ed como detectar y canalizar de manera \u00f3ptima a personas con diagn\u00f3stico reciente,\u00a0en beneficio de m\u00e1s de 93 mil derechohabientes que\u00a0viven con VIH.<\/p>\n<p>La doctora\u00a0Sandra Carlota Trevi\u00f1o P\u00e9rez, jefa de \u00c1rea M\u00e9dica de Programas Especiales en la Divisi\u00f3n de Excelencia Cl\u00ednica, detall\u00f3\u00a0que\u00a0durante 2022 se\u00a0inici\u00f3 la\u00a0socializaci\u00f3n del PAI\u00a0en\u00a0los tres niveles de atenci\u00f3n a fin de dar conocer este protocolo,\u00a0adem\u00e1s de\u00a0capacitar a\u00a0mil 985 profesionales\u00a0entre personal\u00a0m\u00e9dico,\u00a0enfermer\u00eda,\u00a0T<wbr \/>rabajo Social y equipo de salud ampliado.<\/p>\n<p>Indic\u00f3 que durante 2023\u00a0la meta es\u00a0capacitar al personalinvolucrado\u00a0en la atenci\u00f3n a personas que viven con el VIH\u00a0en el\u00a0uso\u00a0del PAI.\u00a0\u201cAdem\u00e1s de los 356 profesionales de la salud en el Segundo y Tercer nivel que atienden a personas con VIH, este documento\u00a0considera\u00a0a asistentes m\u00e9dicas, psic\u00f3logos, nutri\u00f3logos, pediatras y m\u00e9dicos familiares, todos los que tienen que ver en prevenci\u00f3n, promoci\u00f3n a la salud, tratamiento y seguimiento\u201d, resalt\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>Resalt\u00f3 que la Coordinaci\u00f3n de Educaci\u00f3n en Salud del IMSS dise\u00f1\u00f3 un portal donde el personal de salud consulta los materiales que integran el Protocolo de Atenci\u00f3n Integral y posteriormente se realiza una evaluaci\u00f3n para reforzar las \u00e1reas de conocimiento y asegurar que la capacitaci\u00f3n fue completa y satisfactoria.<\/p>\n<p>La doctora Trevi\u00f1o P\u00e9rez destac\u00f3 que\u00a0del\u00a0total de personas que se atienden en el\u00a0Seguro Social, 95 por ciento tiene acceso\u00a0a\u00a0medicamentos antirretrovirales.\u00a0\u201cEsto es muy importante porque una de las metas que se ha planteado para disminuir el n\u00famero de casos nuevos para el a\u00f1o 2030, justo es que las personas est\u00e9n en tratamiento\u00a0con este tipo de f\u00e1rmacos\u201d, enfatiz\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>A\u00f1adi\u00f3 que el IMSS ha sido pionero\u00a0desde la atenci\u00f3n de los primeros casos de enfermedad por VIH y actualmente brinda tratamiento con tableta de una sola toma al d\u00eda, que favorece la adherencia,\u00a0alta eficacia y\u00a0pocos efectos adversos.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAproximadamente 90 por ciento de las personas con tratamiento antirretroviral toma alguno de los dos tratamientos en tableta \u00fanica; esto nos pone a la vanguardia y en lo indicado en las gu\u00edas nacionales e internacionales respecto al uso de medicamentos de \u00faltima generaci\u00f3n\u201d, resalt\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>Por su parte, el doctor Christian Iv\u00e1n Mart\u00ednez Abarca, coordinador de Programas M\u00e9dicos en la Divisi\u00f3n de Excelencia Cl\u00ednica, detall\u00f3 que se puede adquirir VIH en tres formas: transmisi\u00f3n de una madre embarazada hacia su beb\u00e9, en caso de no recibir tratamiento antirretroviral; usuarios de drogas intravenosas que comparten aguja con una persona\u00a0que\u00a0vive con VIH; y\u00a0por\u00a0relaciones sexuales sin alg\u00fan tipo de protecci\u00f3n como uso del cond\u00f3n o uso de estrategias farmacol\u00f3gicas preventivas\u00a0como la\u00a0Profilaxis Pre Exposici\u00f3n\u00a0(PrEP).<\/p>\n<p>Explic\u00f3 que la\u00a0PrEP se utiliza antes de estar expuesto al factor de riesgo\u00a0y que previene de\u00a0contraer el VIH en personas con factores de riesgo;\u00a0adem\u00e1s se cuenta con la\u00a0Profilaxis Post Exposici\u00f3n\u00a0(PEP), que tambi\u00e9n\u00a0es una\u00a0estrategia preventiva,\u00a0con la\u00a0diferencia\u00a0en que su uso es\u00a0posterior a\u00a0la exposici\u00f3n\u00a0a un factor de riesgo,\u00a0dentro de las\u00a0siguientes\u00a072 horas<\/p>\n<p>Destac\u00f3 que el Protocolo de Atenci\u00f3n Integral\u00a0contempla\u00a0a los\u00a0tres\u00a0niveles de atenci\u00f3n,\u00a0y considera la parte preventiva, por lo que se promueve el uso del PrEP y PEP; \u201cen el PAI se\u00a0describen\u00a0las acciones\u00a0que debe realizar\u00a0el personal de salud en todos los niveles,\u00a0a fin de lograr\u00a0el control integral el VIH, en concordancia con las recomendaciones de la Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial de la Salud,\u00a0como parte del\u00a0paquete de\u00a0acciones\u00a0que se conocen como prevenci\u00f3n combinada\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>El doctor Mart\u00ednez Abarca record\u00f3 que el Seguro Social fue la primera instituci\u00f3n en implementar la\u00a0Profilaxis Pre Exposici\u00f3n\u00a0como estrategia\u00a0de salud p\u00fablica<a name=\"m_7511418434516448559__Hlk146279897\"><\/a>;\u00a0a finales de2020 el director general\u00a0del IMSS, Zo\u00e9\u00a0Robledo, hizo el anuncio de que\u00a0en\u00a0el Instituto contar\u00edamos
